Interim Managing Director

Derek was appointed to the role of Interim Managing Director in January 2024.
He is a qualified social worker by background and holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management.
Derek has worked in the care sector for nearly 40 years and has held a number of executive and senior leadership roles including Executive Director of Adult Social Services in North Yorkshire, Greenwich, Southampton and Jersey.
Derek also has wide experience as a non-executive director, chairing a Housing Association and serving on NHS Trust and Probation services boards.
Derek was awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Honours in 2010 for exceptional services to care services.

Jacqueline joined Tricuro as Non-Executive Director in October 2023.

Jacqueline is a Workforce Professional and Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She holds a Master’s Degree in Organisational Development and is an ILM Qualified Coach. She worked with the National Health Service for over 30 years and having undertaken a wide variety of senior leadership roles, her final post was that of Director of Workforce for Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
On leaving the NHS, Jacqueline established her own business working as an Executive Coach, Leadership Development Facilitator and Consultant and now works across a number of sectors supporting Boards, Teams and Individuals to resolve complex challenges.
Jacqueline is a member of a local Academy Trust.

Vanessa joined Tricuro as Non-Executive Director in October 2023.

Vanessa is a registered adult nurse, having completed her training in 1991 she has extensive executive and nursing leadership experience in acute hospitals, and NHS commissioning. Vanessa’s most recent role was as executive Director of Nursing and Quality in NHS Dorset, and prior to this worked as Deputy Director of Nursing for NHS Dorset and Deputy Director of Nursing at Dorset County Hospital. Vanessa has a wide range of clinical experience working in numerous specialties and more latterly has worked in commissioning organisations, working closely with Local Authorities. Her portfolio in her most recent role included Continuing HealthCare, Patient Safety, Safeguarding, Infection Control, Quality Improvement and Risk and Governance. Vanessa’s particular enduring interests are quality improvement, governance, patient safety and safeguarding.
Vanessa has completed academic qualification to Masters level and is a qualified level 7 coach.

Anil was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in March 2022. Anil is a former barrister specialising in children, family and matrimonial finance law, with an expertise representing unaccompanied minors fleeing persecution. Thereafter as an entrepreneur he was Starbucks Coffee’s first franchisee globally. The company he founded, was CEO of, and remains principal shareholder in, operates 88 stores employing over 1,300 team members.
He now volunteers mentoring looked after children; is a carer of children with life limiting conditions and an ambassador at Naomi House Hospice; part of Oakhaven Hospice‘s community befriending service; and an independent member of a fostering panel.

Anil lives in the New Forest with his wife and two young sons, is privileged to be able to support his sons’ many varied pursuits, and is a life long Manchester Utd fan.

Anil is committed to tackling health inequalities and helping ensure that we look after each of our staff and service users, in a way that we would want to be looked after ourselves or for our families.
